Meet Our Pastor

At Common Ground Church, teamwork is at the heart of our mission! We are privileged to have a dedicated team of leaders, both visible on stage and diligently working behind the scenes. They share a profound passion for serving the Common Ground Church community and the surrounding areas. This dynamic team, under the guidance of Pastor Jake Smith, includes our Board of Elders, our Strategic Leadership Team, and campus pastors serving at each of our locations. We also take pride in our exceptional team of Student and Children’s Pastors, devoted to sharing the Gospel with the next generation.

Before you come

A few answers for your first Sunday, so nothing catches you off guard.

Where do I park?

Free parking is on the east side of the building, and greeters in orange vests will point you to the closest open space. Accessible spots sit beside the main doors.

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in. You will see jeans and sneakers next to Sunday best, and nobody is keeping score.

What about my kids?

Check in at the Kids desk in the lobby up to fifteen minutes before each service. Every classroom has trained, background-checked volunteers and a secure pickup.

How long is the service?

About seventy-five minutes: worship, a message from Pastor Jake, and a closing song. Plan on a little extra time for coffee afterward.

Is there coffee?

Yes. The coffee bar in the lobby is open before and after both services, and the first cup is free for guests.

Do I need to give anything?

No. Giving is for members and regulars who want to join in. As a guest, there is nothing to pay, sign or fill out.
